Accelerating Climate Change in Canadian Teacher Education

Eco Schools Canada

Since 2005, EcoSchools Canada’s award-winning certification framework has provided independent reporting and recognition for schools and outdoor and environmental education centres. Reaching about 1 million students annually, they are the largest bilingual, voluntary environmental certification program for K-12 schools in Canada.

Natural Curiosity

Created in collaboration with Indigenous educators and partners, the Natural Curiosity Program addresses a critical link between environmental and Indigenous education, supporting all educators to authentically respond to the calls to action by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada.

The Centre for Global Education (CGE) develops and delivers virtual collaborative learning projects that engage and empower youth as global citizens thrugh connecting them to people, places and issues they are learning about in their classrooms.

MECCE – Monitoring & Evaluation of Climate Communication & Education Project

The MECCE Project is  an ambitious international research partnership of over 100 leading scholars and agencies. Their goal is to advance global climate literacy and action through improving the quality and quantity of climate change education, training, and public awareness.

Let’s Go Zero
